Yayoi Kusama is one of my favorite artists. There is a documentary being made that you can donate to help them complete.
“KUSAMA: Princess of Polka Dots is a feature documentary about avant-garde artist Yayoi Kusama that is currently in post-production. The paparazzi nicknamed Kusama the Polka Dot Princess in the 1960s when she lived in New York City. At that time, she rivaled Andy Warhol for press attention. Now in her early 80s, Kusama is considered Japan’s greatest living artist. The Tate Modern Museum organized a Kusama retrospective in 2011-2012. As part of the retrospective, they asked us to create a short video from our footage.”
